In partnership with SkillsFuture Singapore, e2i, AIC, and our healthcare partners, we came together to organise a Healthcare Jobs & Skills Roadshow. We were delighted to see an exceptional turnout at Toa Payoh HDB Hub on July 14 and 15, 2023! 

During the event, attendees had the opportunity to actively participate in workshops and experiential booths that focused on learning important life skills related to healthcare.These workshops encompassed a diverse range of topics, including understanding the aging process and preventing falls, learning the effective utilisation of mobility aids, responding to choking emergencies, and acquiring fundamental knowledge in infant care management.

It was truly rewarding to see attendees actively learning these skills. These skills empower them to improve their overall health and safety, not just for themselves, but for everyone in the community too.

In addition to the workshops, in collaboration with StarMed Specialist Centre and our patient service associate trainees, we conducted basic health screenings at the event. Attendees had the opportunity to receive a BMI measurement, have their blood pressure checked, and undergo a hypocount test to assess their overall health. These screenings were aimed at helping attendees monitor and take charge of their health.

By imparting knowledge and skills to the community, our goal is to elevate their overall well-being and leave a lasting positive impact.
